B'tox® wrinkle reduction overview
The trusted Botox® therapy used by many men and women has been applied safely and successfully for wrinkle therapy for over 30 years. The treatment is quick and effective. Botox (botulinum toxin) is a purified protein; it allows for natural movement, and its results last three to four months.
The treatment works with tiny injections of Botox® into the muscles, blocking nerve impulses thus relaxing the muscles. This in turn reduces the wrinkles forming. Since the treatment only relaxes the muscle beneath the line at the injection site, it has no effect on other elements of facial expression. It has no effect on one's sensory system and therefore sensation is never affected.
Botox® injections are one of the most effective and popular treatments for smoothing
wrinkles/lines in the following areas:

Procedure
At the first and every visit you will be seen by the Doctor.
The treatment usually takes 15 minutes but before hand the doctor will ask a series of questions to make sure you are suitable. The injections can be carried out on the same day as the FREE consultation if required.
Using a fine needle the doctor will inject areas around the wrinkles. This is virtually pain free with only temporary/ mild discomfort. Post procedure instructions include simple facial exercises afterwards but one can continue with their normal daily life straight away,
These wrinkle injections are completely safe and are approved by the FDA. They have been used for over 30 years without any long term problems.
Wrinkle reducing injections using botulinum toxin are not suitable for anyone who has myasthenia gravis or Lambert Eaton syndrome. The injections are not suitable for women who are pregnant, breast feeding or those under 18 years of age or over 65 years of age

Are there any side effects from Botox®?
Botox® received a license for cosmetic use in the US in 2002, and in 2006 has gained approval for cosmetic use in the UK under the brand name Vistabel®. Millions of people have had Botox® treatments. There is no permanent side effect known with Botox® therapy for facial wrinkles.
Side effects of this treatment are rare, but can include some tenderness or bruising at the site of injection. In less than 1% of people treated with wrinkle relaxing injections, it can cause weakness in muscles near to the site of injection resulting in a slight and temporary droop of the eyelid or eyebrow. Despite it being very rare it is almost always down to the injectors technique and knowledge of facial anatomy.
