A non surgical face lift can have a dramatic effect on your appearance, but the way you look and feel immediately after the treatment will depend on which kind of facelift you have had. Non-surgical facelifts can be performed with either dermal fillers or Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) treatments.
Recovering from Your Facelift
Whichever kind of face lift you choose, you won’t need any downtime afterwards. Recovering from a non surgical face lift is much easier than recovering from cosmetic surgery. You will be able to go about your usual routine as soon as the treatment is over. However, both kinds of non-surgical facelift do involve needles, so there may be a small amount of redness or swelling around the injection sites. You might want to apply a cold compress to help reduce any swelling. You should also avoid touching the treated areas or applying makeup, cosmetics or any other products to the area for at least six hours. This will help to prevent any infections. Any redness or swelling should go away within a couple of days and it often won’t even be noticeable to other people. Just make sure that you arrange your treatment well ahead of any important events so that you can look your best.
Effects of a Non-Surgical Facelift
The effects of your non surgical face lift will be immediate if you have opted for the eight point facelift using dermal fillers. The fillers will immediately boost volume, lift sagging skin, and smooth out your wrinkles. If you have chosen the PRP treatment, you will see the same kind of results, but it may take a little more time. Since the PRP or vampire facelift works by stimulating the natural healing powers of your skin, it can take a few weeks to see the full effects. In either case, the results should last for up to 18 months.
